How can parents KEEP CHILDREN SAFE in today’s world?
Join us for this important Community Conversation …
According to the Cyber Bullying Research Center, 33.6% of adolescents have experienced cyberbullying in their lifetime, and according to a 2014 Teen Internet Safety survey conducted by The Futures Company, 18% of the adolescents surveyed have considered meeting an individual they have met through online communications.
Our children know so much more than their parents about the newest and latest online communication applications. Our role in monitoring our children’s behavior and interactions online has never been more important.
CORA invites you to attend a presentation about risks, legal implications, and latest dangers about children’s online media use AND a panel discussion with youth who know first-hand of the impact of today’s dangers and what they wished their parents had known.
